Birchrose Associates is a specialist Recruitment Agency dedicated to the legal sector. We are part of Huntress, a 20-year strong Recruitment Business with multiple offices across the UK. Over the past 20 years we have opened new offices and expanded our markets, including establishing two specialist brands. Birchrose Associates is currently a team of 7 Consultants with over 40 years’ legal recruitment experience combined. We place legal support staff and solicitors with law firms across the UK, with an emphasis on the South.About the Role
Due to growth, we are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our team! As a Recruitment Assistant at Birchrose, you will support our very experienced sales staff (Recruitment Consultants), with a big emphasis on candidate attraction and relationship building. You will be expected to generate candidates on a daily basis, utilising jobs sites and LinkedIn, as well as maintaining relationships with candidates already registered with us. This role can be full or part time, based in central London (Holborn). There is the option of hybrid working following a successful probation period.Recruitment Assistant Duties
- Sourcing candidates for live vacancies
- Utilising job sites, our website, and LinkedIn
- Keeping candidates records up to date on our system
- Writing and posting job advertisements and managing responses
- Carrying out interviews with candidates over the phone
- Briefing candidates on vacancies and updating them throughout the process
- Assisting the marketing team: researching and generating content for social channels
- General administration tasks to assist the team
About You
To excel in this role, you must be a pro-active, organised individual who enjoys working with people! This role will be heavily candidate focused. You will be expected to communicate with candidates in writing and over the phone on a regular basis.- We’re looking for a team player, someone happy to get stuck in!
- You will have a pro-active, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Previous office-based experience is essential
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Previous phone-based experience is essential
- You must be organised and have the ability to manage a high volume workload
- Experience using LinkedIn as a sourcing tool is strongly desirable
- Experience in a recruitment environment is desirable but not essential
